Spanish lesson #101: We mentioned before that in Spanish we have 3 different groups of verbs: the group of verbs that end in “ar”, the group of verbs that end in “er” and the group of verbs that end in “ir”. Of these, the latter is the group that has more irregular verbs. Nevertheless, we can learn the rule for conjugating the verbs that end in “ir” using the regular verb ABRIR (to open). In previous lessons I have already taught how to conjugate regular verbs that belong to the other two groups of verbs.

Although we are focussing more on vocabulary and grammar, pay attention to the Spanish pronunciation in these video lessons, and remember to practice repeating the same words and sounds.
