How would you say in Spanish: "I'm sad and I'm hungry" (SELECT ALL THE CORRECT ANSWERS)
  • Add your answer

CORRECT ANSWERS:
B) Estoy triste y tengo hambre.
F) Estoy triste y estoy con hambre.
G) Estoy triste y estoy hambriento.

In Spanish, feelings and sensations are used with the verbs SER, ESTAR and TENER (to have), depending on the case. When the feeling or sensation is a noun, and it is being used with the verb ESTAR, then it has to be used with the word CON.

For example:
Estoy con frío (I am with cold).

Many of these sensations and feelings exist as nouns and and as adjectives. Therefore they can be used in more than one way. For example, when we say “estoy triste” or “estoy frío”, TRISTE and FRÍO are adjectives.
