SELECT ALL THE CORRECT WAYS for asking "How old are you":
CORRECT ANSWERS:
D) ¿Cuántos años tienes?
E) ¿Qué edad tienes?
In Spanish, the two correct ways to ask somebody’s age are:
1) “qué edad tienes” (Literally: “what age do you have”)
2) “cuántos años tienes” (Lit.: “how many years do you have”).
Both or totally correct. But the one using the word “edad” is slightly more formal or “adult”. Usually you don’t ask a child “qué edad tienes“, rather “cuántos años tienes“.
Remember that in Spanish we use the verb TO HAVE instead of TO BE to talk about somebody’s age.
